week 34 and baby update

We are at week 34 folks. That means in 6 short weeks, 40 days until my due date, we will be meeting Tessa! It's so surreal, yet so real at the same time. That made sense in my head. Anyways, we had our 34 week ultrasound last Friday. She was an active little lady and kept kicking the ultrasound wand. She measured at about 4 lbs 12 oz, and was head down, but not in the pelvis. They did say that as active as she was, we shouldn't be surprised if she moves and rolls still, meaning don't count on her staying head down! We finally got a solid shot of her lady parts, proving she is in fact  a girl. At our 20 week u/s, they thought it was a girl, but she was stubborn so they couldn't prove girl or boy. Now there's no doubt! So far things are great, and I
 still feel pretty good.

In other news, I have been busy shopping for stuff that Tessa can't live without. Now just check below!

How cute is this?! I have been looking for bows/headbands for Tessa so she can help support her favorite teams this football season. It's much easier to find cute stuff like this than to find newborn outfits in teams. This gem is from Etsy, which can be found Here!

But then again, how can you resist the cuteness of these, which just so happen to be mix and match with the bows and the headbands!!

Yep, she'll be sporting these. I can't believe I've turned into one of those moms. Weird. Don't worry though, she will still play in the dirt, bow-headband combo and all. She is a girl, but she won't be a foo-foo princess. I won't allow it. I've already told Grandma Pam no lace and no tu-tus. She'll wear pink....in Nike gear.
